Second Place for Moldova at S.A.V.E. Ambassadors 2025

Class 10 “B” from IPLT "Spiru Haret" in Chișinău, Moldova, won second place in the S.A.V.E. Ambassadors – International Edition 2025, a sustainability education program organized by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.

The competition brought together student teams from 9 countries where the Group is present, encouraging them to develop local projects with a positive environmental impact. The Moldovan students stood out through an initiative with remarkable mobilizing power: collecting plastic caps and turning this simple act into a practical lesson on recycling, responsibility, and community engagement.

The project began with a key question — How can we, as students, contribute to a cleaner environment? — and led to a wave of concrete actions at school: raising awareness, collecting materials, collaborating, transforming, and educating through example. These results earned praise from the international jury, which awarded the team second place in the final rankings.

This recognition reflects the Moldovan students’ strong commitment to sustainability values and highlights the transformative potential of education in shaping a more environmentally aware and active generation.

The S.A.V.E. Ambassadors initiative is part of FLITIN – the Financial Literacy International Network, Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s network of financial education ambassadors from 12 countries: Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Slovakia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Hungary.

It is also inspired by the online educational platform S.A.V.E. Virtual Tour, promoted by the Museum of Saving in Turin (Italy), in collaboration with the EIB Institute.
