Eximbank appoints Marco Trevisan as CEO
Eximbank Commercial Bank, part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, announces the appointment of Marco Trevisan as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Committee
Eximbank, a financial and banking institution and a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, officially announces the assumption of office, starting 17 January, of the new Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Committee, Marco Trevisan, following the approval received from the National Bank of Moldova.
Marco Trevisan takes over the leadership of the institution, replacing Marco Santini, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of Eximbank since April 2018. During his mandate, Marco Santini significantly contributed to strengthening Eximbank’s governance, implementing strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency, corporate governance, and the quality of services offered to clients. Under his leadership, Eximbank aligned itself with the standards of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and expanded its portfolio of products addressed to both individual and corporate customers.
The new Chief Executive Officer, Marco Trevisan, brings to Eximbank extensive international experience in banking and financial management. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions in financial institutions in Central and Western Europe, as well as in the Middle East and Southwest Asia, coordinating organizational transformation projects, strategic development, risk management and optimization of banking processes. His expertise will contribute to strengthening Eximbank’s strategic direction and reinforcing its role in supporting the economy of the Republic of Moldova.
