Deposit acceptance conditions for individuals

DEAR CLIENTS,

Please be informed that, as of 20 October 2026, the interest rates applicable to term deposits for individuals will change as follows:

• “CLASSICO FIX” deposit, opened in MDL for a term of 12 months: the interest rate will increase from 7.00% to 7.50%.
• “DINAMICO” deposit, opened in MDL for a term of 32 months: the interest rate will increase from 7.50% to 8.25%, both for newly opened deposits and for existing deposits currently in the floating interest rate period.

 

Additional bonuses:

In addition to the standard interest rate, customers may benefit from the following bonuses:

1) When opening a “CLASSICO FIX” deposit in MDL using new funds (new money) transferred from other banks, a bonus of +0.25 percentage points (p.p.) is granted, regardless of the deposit term.

The new money status must be confirmed by a cash deposit receipt or a document certifying the transfer of funds from another financial institution.

2) Retired customers who present their pensioner ID and hold a social card issued by EXIMBANK are eligible for a bonus of +0.25 p.p. on top of the standard interest rate applicable to any MDL deposit included in the bank’s product offering.

Note: The above bonuses are granted exclusively for newly opened deposits at EXIMBANK branch counters and do not apply to deposits opened through electronic channels or other remote distribution channels.

We would also like to remind you that,

1) Deposits with a term of at least 32 months and an amount of at least MDL 2,000,000 or USD/EUR 300,000 are eligible for an additional +0.20 p.p. on top of the standard interest rate.

         Exception: This benefit does not apply to the “UNIVERSAL” deposit.

2) When opening a SENIOR deposit, holders of social cards issued by EXIMBANK are eligible for the following additional interest rate bonuses:

        +0,50 p.p. for SENIOR deposits in MDL

        +0,10 p.p. for SENIOR deposits in USD/EUR

Note: The above additional interest rate bonuses apply to all newly opened eligible deposits, for both new and existing customers.
